Bipolar Disorder or what? |
How do you know if u have it? And what happens if u dont do the medicine stuff? My uncle had is and killed himself a few years back(depression aswell), and my dad may have it but im not sure. I have alot of self control but I do have days in which im completely different and dont take anything, like friday my friend was messing around and pushed me into the door and i pushed the door and hit it but i realized what i did and stopped. It was like a quick uncontrolable action but i realized i did it and stopped. I also have a high pain tolerance and threshold and i dont react to pain at all. There was a kid stabbing me with a pencil and i continued the conversation without even saying anything to him. Its hard for me to defend myself because it has to be completely unexpected for me to react. Im usually really calm and stuff but if me and my dad get in an argument I cant stop, like its really just uncontrollable and i get in more trouble but i cant help it. What do I do and what is this? Alot of people call me a pussy because I never stand up for myself, even when I do. There was a kid who put me in a chokehold when I was really tired and oblivious to everything and I stood up tryed to flip him over me, but he got off and i grabbed his shirt and pushed him against the wall and almost freaked out but I cant get in any trouble or ill be a sophomore again(missed to many days). What should I do? Next year the first time someone does anything I plan on doing something but i cant this year. I don't think you have Bi-polar disorder. Since you might have a family history of bi-polar, it would be a good idea to consult a Doc about your mental hygiene. You seem to lose controll fairly often and you seem to realise that your losing control. High pain tolerance is another issue-it also helps you stay out of control-pain is something that usually makes people realise something is wrong. Please go see your Doc. I have bipolar, and what you're describing doesn't sounds like it. This site has a good description. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bipolar... This doesn't sound like bipolar. However, you may have another problem. Can you talk to the school counselor? How old are you? |
