Will they do a continuing medical review for my SSI + SSDI for my Schizoaffective Disorder Bipolar Type I?

I've now been on SSI and SSDI for 2+ years. I take seroquel 600mg and Lithobid 1500mg every day. I was diagnozed as schizoaffective disorder bipolar type I by my last 2 psychiatrists. I read online that people who are schizoaffective are at a great risk of developing schizophrenia. I wanted to know if I already developed schizophrenia because one day at around 3-4am i woke up and saw in my room a spirit and i thought i was going to die if I didn't turn the light on. As soon as I turned the light on the spirit vanished slowly. The whole thing lasted only about 4-5 seconds. I wanted to know why I saw that for the first time ever. After the incident I told my psychiatrist about that, and he didn't say much. I would like to know if I would requalify for SSI and SSDI cuz I've been discharged medically from the military for having my illness and I can't even work 2-3 hours a day cuz stress makes my illness much worse. The medications are very strong cuz it knocks me out for 14 hours straight

My son has the exact same illness as you do and he collects Social Security. They do a medical review to make sure he is still eligible for the benefits and it sounds like you should review. He does work parttime and his found someone willing to work him around his illness. When he is medicated and well rested, he is a great worker. I imagine youare the same way.
He says the "stuff" never goes away you just learn to ignore it after a while. I would try finding a group in your area where you can talk to other people, not just doctors.
More than likely you do qualify. Call Social Security and see what steps you need to take to get yourself set up.
