For those with Bipolar Disorder - What is it like to have mixed episodes?

More specifically, what was a typical day/week like with mixed episodes before you received diagnosis/treatment? How did it affect your relationships and family life? What was it like to start getting treatment and search for the right one?

Its confusing because we can't really trust the way we feel and feeling is very influential...I mean it helps us decides whether or not we like something and helps with good judgement. Its tough because people are always on eggshells around you and that is very annoying....Treatments help but the side effects are awful....Youre either too tired or too hyper, quiet and contemp or loud and obuniouxs....Before treatment i always felt that i was being provoked and thats why i would have those certain reactions....The worse part of it for me was having people thinking that i wasnt mentally stable or emotion fit to do certain activities
