For people who experience bipolar disorder?

Do you ever feel crazy, weird, or like your mind wont leave you alone? Do you look around and feel confused? Do you over analize everything? I just feel really bored with my life, and I really havent seen a future in the longest time. I could be thinking about suicide while at the same time thinking about something that has no meaning. Though my thoughts seem like they are more important then what happens in my life. And I really dont know what my life is, and what it means. Im not sure if im living sometimes or if im watching myself live. Its crazy because in as little as a hour I could be feeling the opposite. I never know. I dont know. I know what I want and I know what I want to say but it doesnt work that easy. Its never the way it should be or the way I pictured it. Its never ever going to make sense and yet I will spend the rest of my life trying to figure it out. Madness

I feel bored and anxious alot of the time. I have bad bouts of depression too. I over analyze almost every aspect of my life and feel like I always fall short of what I'd thought I'd be at this point.

Good news is you recognize these negative thought patterns. Bi-Polar disorder doesn't make you crazy at all. When thoughts intrude in your mind try imagining something peaceful like a beach or lying in bed right before you go to sleep, take deep breaths and focus only on that image and on your steady breathing. The first few times it will be difficult to clear your mind but you have to keep trying to concentrate on it untill you win.

There are alot of other techniques, seekinga doctors care is of course a good option but sometimes hard to do beacuse of circumstances. Relaxation is a good start though. Once you have that bit of control over your mind you can choose what thoughts to focus on and which ones to push away.

I feel exactly the same way, I am bipolar, and have not taken any meds in years, I feel like I have no control over my thinking at all and I swear it gets worse everyday. I can barely even leave the house. I know meds can help, hopefully you can be braver than me and get help, please let me know how it goes, for some reason I am terrified to go see a doc.

Yes, those are signs of Bi-Polar disorder. Consult a doctor. I have bipolar disorder. Before I was on medication, my mind was all over the map! I was paranoid, and everything.

You really should see a doctor.
