Doctors please help. Can a person with bipolar disorder also suffer from PTSD and ADD? Hi, I attend a weekly support group for people with bipolar disorder, major depression, OCD, PTSD, etc. I don't know the statistics, but it is fairly common for people to have dual diagnoses. I am not a doctor, but I suffer from Bi-Polar disorder, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I was diagnosed with these diseases at 17 so I know it is possible to have multiple disorders. I hope this helps you. Yes they can, anyone can suffer from a mixture of mental health problems, depending on who they are, and their life experiences. |
