My BiPolar Disorder is becoming more and more of a burden...? |
Not just for me, obviously, but for my wife and family. I am medicated, and the meds work, to a point, but I am still in hell. Can anyone help me? Resources, ideas, experiences? Anything? I have no health insurance and I am running out of rational options. I realize you have no health insurance but you really need to contact your physician and let them know how bad you're still feeling. I have been in your shoes for several years now. My doctor had to add two extra meds. before I managed to get stable. You can contact NAMI for information on bi-polar disorder and even find support groups in your area. Hang on tho those rational options even if you've tried on you may need to try it again. The most important thing is that you don't give up. Even with this disorder we are worthwhile people with a lot to give just sometimes it's harder for us. Be strong------for you you're worth it. Go see a PHD and ask for 1 med that will work completely. Ask the PHD to give you samples of the meds because you can't pay for them. In most cases they will continue with the samples if you are really willing to keep your disorder under control and not use your disorder as a crutch. You would be surprised as to how many people have this disorder and function normally on the proper meds. I work in a pharmacy part time and see professionals picking up their meds for bipolar. Also try to find a free support group so you can discuss your issue.
