Bipolar Manic Depressive Disorder!?

This is not a question. This is for all of the people out there that think they might be Bipolar. I got on here tonight and the first 10 questions that popped up where all about people wanting to know if they were Bipolar. So here we go.

The "Depressive" part of having Bipolar disorder include:
Depression
Feeling hopeless
Suicidal
Change in sleeping pattern
Lose of interest in activities
Change in appetite
And more and more.........

The "Manic" part of Bipolar include:
High energy
High moods
Racing thoughts
Talking fast
Unrealistic beliefs in abilities
Poor judgment
Provocative behavior
Aggressive behavior
Increased sex drive
Drug and alcohol abuse
Denial
And more and more.....

Now the difference between " Regular Depression" And " Bipolar Disorder" is when your depressed your just sad and low and sometimes suicidal or have suicidal thought and so on and so on. Bipolar, you are up and down all the time. Not just when bad crap happens but on a reuglar basis. Not just once or twice a week, EVERYDAY. You go from depressive behavior to manic behavior at the drop of of a hat, and each behavior can last for long periods of time before going back to the other at the drop of a hat. It is in most cases very hard for a person with Bipolar Disorder to function without medication.

So for all of the people out there that really think they may have Bipolar disorder but arent for sure, I hope this helped. And if you do or really think you might after reading this go to a doctor and get some help.

For all of the teenagers on here that post a question about Bipolar Disorder every five seconds I would like to tell you, there is a big difference in being Depressed and being Bipolar. There is even a bigger difference in being a TEENAGER and having a mental problem. The bottom line is. Adolescence is hard for everyone. Most everyone hits a stage in adolescence where they hate there life or the way they look and get depressed and hates everything blah blah blah. But it gets better. So if thats the problem dont try to make it into something its not. Just wait for it to get better because it will.

None of the stuff I put on here came from a proffesional, it only came from me so if you would like any further information I suggest you either contact an actual doctor or go to google and look up Bipolar Disorder.

Thank You!

Phew! I thought it was just me noticing how every post someone thinks they are Bipolar. Adolescence is hard people, deal with it.

Pharmaceutical companies love to brainwash people into thinking they are sick so they can be sure they are making money off of you as long as your living. It's easier when you convince the youth or parents of youth that their children have a problem. They are the weakest prey. And that is why everyone thinks they are Bipolar.

you know saying bipolar manic depressive disorder is redundant.
