What happens if you just stop taking the birth control pill in the middle of the pack? |
I've been on the pill for about two months. I'm not having sex and I'm tired of the pills side effects so I've just stopped taking it. I was a week into my third pack and I haven't taken my pill since Sunday. Should I expect anything to happen? Will I get spotted bleeding? Nothing has happened yet... You should get your period sometime soon. It's like going on the non-hormonal pills in the pack. By being off of the specific hormones you should get a period as if you are on the placebo pills. your body will need like 2 weeks to adjust. you'll just go back to normal- you might get funny spotting, and your period might come sooner or later than expected because your cycle will be kinda messed up- but you'll be fine. nothing wrong with quitting the pill :) You will probably either spot or get your period early |
