Switched birth control pills - weird side effects or possible pregnancy?

Hello all - I was switched from Yaz to Zovia a few weeks ago, due to insurance costs getting out of hand for Yaz. I am a Sunday starter, and am on week 3 of the pack, and have the inactive pills starting Sunday of next week, so I would anticipate my period sometime around Wed/Thurs ish. The past few days, my boobs and nipples especially have been EXTREMELY sore and sensitive to the touch, and I can't figure out the reason why. My fiance (wedding in 3 months!!! :D!) keeps joking around that I'm pregnant, and after at least 4 days of this, I'm wondering if that might be the case. We are not using any other protection besides the pill (partially bc of a slight latex allergy, partially because we're lazy haha) so I was wondering if anyone on here has experienced symptoms like this when switching to a different birth control pill, or if there's a chance that this could be my warning sign (about 2 weeks early?) that I could be pregnant. Any feedback would be appreciated!!

Breast tenderness is a symptom some women experience as part of PMS. It could be that your body is experiencing PMS differently under this new pill. Of course, breast tenderness is also common with pregnancy, so if you weren't using protection during the switch to the new pills, it's possible that you managed to get pregnant. The one thing you don't want to do is stress about it. Stress can make you're period late, which causes you to get more stressed out and your period to be even later. I know, it's a vicious cycle. My suggestion would be to go out and pick up a home pregnancy test to put your mind at ease. Good luck!
