Are birth control pills at a drug store reliable? You need a perscription in order to get effective BC pills, you can't just walk down an isle at the drug store and pick them up. Once you get your dr. to write you a perscription you can take that to any drug store that has a pharmacy and get BC pills. Should be, generally off brand are the same as name brand medicines it's kind of a rule by the FDA or whatever, so you should be fine, just don't think because you are on birth control that you don't have to use a condom too, if you are serious about not getting pregnant but are sure you want to have sex, the most protection the better. Where else would you get birth control pills besides your drug store? Some people get the free samples that pharmaceutical companies provide to the doctors, but doctors don't always give them away to the same patients. Doctors write prescriptions that have to be filled at a drug store/pharmacy. Birth control pills don't come over-the-counter. |
