Birth control pills or IUD? |
I am 21, never had kids, would like to in about 4-5 years. what do you recomend. Birth control pills or IUD, and why? well Birth control you have to remember to take it everyday,r u up for that It really isn't recommended to have an IUD before you've had kids. The reason is that the cervix is slightly open after you've had a baby. Its harder to put an IUD in if it is not slightly open. It would be difficult to find a doctor who would insert an IUD into someone who has never had a baby. I would say get an IUD because you might forget to take your pilll one day and that just might bhe the day you get pregnnat but if your concerned about all the effects of an IUD they are other choices such as implanon which last for 3 years thats what im getting after my baby because im scared somethng might go wrong with an IUD IUDs freak me out because they destroy the normal environment of your uterus. Things generally go back to normal after it is removed and you can have kids, but I still would be too scared to get one. I am on birth control pills and don't mind it too much. I set an alarm on my phone so I remember to take it at the same time every day. |
