do antibiotics really make birth control pills less effective?
if so, by how much?

Some can. Just use a condom during the time your taking it, it wont kill you.

Yes they can and antibotics can also increase the chances of getting vaginal yeast infections.

yep, so use a back up method. You can get pregnant within a few days if your having sex while on the pill and taking antibiotics... from what my nurse says.
