Birth control pills!?!?

hello :)
well I just got some birth control pills and I'm confuse about when you take it. I know you take it every day, but in this little circle thingy it starts on Sunday, and I want to start it right away. Like tomorrow (Thursday) will that be wrong?

I really want to start right away!!!

you want to start them the sunday after your period starts, even if you are still on your period. you do it this way for cycle reasons.

however, I'm sure the date isn't set in stone. When was your last period? How far along are you in your cycle? If you had your period recently, it should be fine. Ask your doc though to be sure.

You can start them tomorrow with no issues. They usually start at Sunday just for the sake of simplicity, not for any medical reason.

The packaging should either have come with stickers with the days of the week on it that can cover up the current order to your preferred starting day or be able to rotate. Either way, you choose your starting day, not the pharmacist. Just remember to take it around the same time every day.

No because the doctor started you as a sunday starter. Usually thats because either A. your period ends like around that time or B: it had just ended.

So I wouldn't because if you are sexually active you want to start the pills right.

There are two ways to start it: on Sunday, or on the day you start your period. After that you take it every day, finishing each pack. I know I will start on Friday if I finish the non-placebo pills on Tuesday, so I start the pack on Wednesdays. Sunday is just arbitrary.
