Now im on the last week of the pack...(brown pills also known as "iron" or "sugar pills") i dont know much...

but will i start my period again?
if i have sex will i get pregnent because their "inactive pills"?

ahhh help!

"The reason why you don't have any extra risks during that placebo week is because of all of the things the pill has done in the three week prior, and which it will do once you start taking it again. During that week, you don't need pills because they've already prevented ovulation and fertilization, so you couldn't become pregnant during that period of time, as without all those preceeding signals to be fertile, you can't suddenly become fertile in that week."

You probably had some breakthrough bleeding. You might have your withdrawal bleed, you might not. Since you just started the pill, there's no telling, but you ARE safe to have sex now, because you've finished a full pack. I'd keep pads or tampons handy at all times for the next few months, though, because your body is still adjusting to the pills, and you may have breakthrough bleeding at any time during the month.

You are still protected against pregnancy on the last week of pills. I doubt you'll get your period again, but may have some spotting. It can take up to 3 months for your period to start coming during the last week of pills.

You usually start your period the second or third day of taking them, but everyone reacts different. I never had sex during the inactive pills. I hear that women can get pregnant while on the inactive pills.
