Is it likely to get pregnant when you take your first birth control pill after having sex?

Me and my boyfriend were having sex and realized that we had unprotected sex. He pulled back out before he ejaculates, and that's when we realized that we should've used a condom. I took a birth control pill after that, but I never had used a pill before.
What should I do? Is there a chance that I can get pregnant?
HELP

Thanks so much everyone, I'm really scared myself too.

Yes you can get pregnant.

You have to be on the birth control pill for awhile before it starts to work. Its highly reccommended that you use another form of birth control for the first month that you are on the pill.

The pull-out method is a poor form of contraceptive. A guy does release pre-seminal fluids before he ejaculates... those fluids can contain sperm.. it only takes ONE sperm to get you pregnant!

Yes there is definately a chance of getting pregnant...When taking your first birth control pill you are warned to use a backup method of birth control for the first week. If you had sex before the first pill, you body was not set up to reject the process of becoming pregnant..

Good Luck!

yeah theres a high chance you could be pregnat
i will pray that you arnt though;
just keep taking your pills after you know
if your not pregnat but if you are pregnat dont
take the pills
wish you best of luck!!

see you shouldnt of had sex and you'd been fine but anyways i think u know the answer cuz u just said you had unprotected sex so yes there is a VERY high chance that u could be pregnant

Yep you can get pregnant.

The morning after pill is just a high dose of birth control.

Take three and be on your way.

yes there is a very high chance you're pregnant.

the pill doesn't just make it go away, it prevents it.

Yes for the pill to work you have to be on it for 4 weeks

my gf and I have had sex using pull out and she's been fine. We use condoms most of the time though.
