What is a good time to take the Birth control pill?

I'm wondering when the best time of day cause I know you need to take it everyday the same time. I have an interesting schedule. I'm 19, so i go out at night, and sometimes I work 12-9, so I'll like to sleep in when I can. I've been doing it at 7 pm. And how else can you remember to take it?

I put an alarm on my cell phone that goes off EVERYDAY! And I take it then! Ummm, I normally associate it with something that I have to do EVERYDAY! I have to be at work at 2 almost everyday! So, I get up at like noon! Even if I'm off, I'm normally up by 12....so by the time I'm dressed and in the car, driving, it's like 1:30! I take my pill at 2:15pm. By that time I've checked in, and opened my station....so i take it then!

I've been on birth control pills for 10 years and always take mine right before I go to bed. I've never had a problem with them, but each woman is different. You might want to pick a time that you know you will be up. If 7 pm doesn't work, think of a better time that is more suitable to your lifestyle. One way I remember to take it is a post-it note on my bathroom mirror since I brush my teeth at night it seems to work. Or why not set your cell phone to ring at the same time every day as a reminder.
