I WAS ON BiRTH CONTROL PiLLS FOR LiKE 3 WEEKS BUT i AM TTC.?

ABOUT 4 DAYS AFTER i STOPPED TAKiNG THE PiLLS i STARTED BLEEDiNG, LiKE A REGULAR PERiOD. iS THiS ACTUALLY MY PERiOD?? WOULD THiS BE THE BEST TiME TO TRY??

If you took them for 3 weeks and stopped it means that was when you were supposed to have your period (or withdraw bleeding) anyways so your fertility should return within the next month or two you where on it so breifly. Good luck TTC

1) The bleeding after a cycle of birth control pills is called "withdrawal bleeding" and it occurs because the hormones are suddenly missing. This is no real menstruation!

2) Usually you are INFERTILE during the withdrawal bleeding. The contraception efficacy of the birth control pills is maintained during the withdrawl bleeding.

3) If you use birth control pills in order to get pregnant, then you have to take them at least 6 months and then stop suddenly and do not take them again for at least six months. Usually pregancy occurs during the next three cycles after stopping very easily, sometimes even in the first month after stopping.

4) Starting with birth control pills for a short period and then stopping again, only jumbles up your hormones and makes conception even more unlikely. Don't do that! -- Either take it 6 months, then stop, or do not take it at all. Do not play games with your body you do not understand!

5) You may get pregnant anytime no matter what anyway. There is no possibility to predict after your short try with birth control pills.
