What birth control pill can I take that won't make me gain weight? |
I was taking Yaz for 7 months and put on a lot of water weight. Although it helped with clearing up my skin and my PMDD, I was constantly bloated and had to go up 2 bra sizes. What else is good? ALL birth control pills trick your body into thinking it is pregnant so you do not ovulate..Hence the water weight. You could call your doctor or pharmacist and let them know you are not comfortable with the weight gain. Though this should diminish after a few months as your body adjusts. But obviously your body doesn't want to adjust...lol Talk to your doctor about different brands =] take a higher dosage of Yaz |
