I haven't taken my birth control pills in 6 days, what do I do to get myself back on track?

I haven't taken my birth control pills in 6 days, what do I do to get myself back on track?

you can't. once 2 days have passed you can't. Normally if you miss a day you would just double up the next but it's been too long now. You need to wait until your next period and start over with a new pack.

skip the missed pills and complete the rest of the pill pack. Backup contraception is recommended until your next menstrual cycle. Taking the rest of the pill pack does not protect you from pregnancy but will control your cycle.
If you had unprotected sex during the time that you missed taking pills, you can use emergency contraception to help prevent pregnancy. You can buy the emergency contraceptive Plan B (sometimes called the "morning-after pill") in most drugstores.

use condoms religiously until your next period comes, and start the next pack on that sunday. if you forget for 6 days in a row maybe you should consider switching to another form of birth control like the patch or the shot

you start taking them again but just its gonna be like the first time you ever started with that 10 day period of no unprotected sex and weird side effects. try not to go that long with out taking your pills tho its a hassle

Wait till your period is finished, then start back at day 1. Make sure that you use some other method of contraception for the next month (condoms)

Asking your doctor would be a good place to start. And then you can also work on not being so irresponsible.

Start taking your birth control again.

Throw that pack away. Then wait for your period and start over with a new pack.

Start taking it again

Start taking them

start again but start using condums when you have sex for two weeks.

take the pills?
