Help with missing birth control pills? |
this past week has been really hectic for me and i wasn't able to get the time to get my prescription. i missed 4 pills but i took them as soon as i could. i'm back on track now but i'm wondering if that would increase my chances of getting pregnant. it was my first week of pills and i've taken them regularly for 5 years now. what do you all think? i probably should mention that i had unprotected sex 4 times within those days. yeah i think you're ok, but if you're planning on having sex just use extra protection for this month maybe?!?! good luck! It could actually increase your chances of getting pregnant if you had unprotected sex during those days. Some say it is hard to get pregnant right after you get off of the pill, but some (like me) get pregnant fast right after getting off of the pill. If you are back on track though.. I would still take a pregnancy test when your period starts. You can still have a period if you are pregnant, so don't let that fool you! From what I've been told, anytime you are late taking a birth control pill you increase your chances of it not working. One of the reasons why I hate them. They are too easy to forget. If you take birth control for too long and too much when you actually are ready to have a baby it is very hard so I would say your good. |
