Does planned parenthood provide birth control pills for free without parental consent?

my girlfriend's parents won't provide it for her and we would feel better if we used birth control pills in conjunction with condoms. We are 17 years old and we live in the chicagoland area.

Planned Parenthood should, here in San Diego I believe they do. There's a health card provided which makes all free. Just call a planned parenthood in your area and ask whether parental consent is necessary. From what I remember, 13 years or older no consent from parents are needed. Just call. You don't need to tell them any personal info.

There should be a place in your town where people with low income or people without insurance tend to go. Here in Orlando it's called Family Care try to look it up on google, you should find some place like it. Now, I know planned parenthood will do whatever to help and of course what they don't want is unwanted pregnancies and all. So best bet is look it up on google, I'm sure you will find either and the one I'm telling you provides pretty much every kind of birth control for free.

Yes they do. Just keep being smart about this, and even though you would go on other birth control, keep using condoms. There are way too many STD's out there, and you don't want to be the girl who gets one.

Yes. I know at the health department they will give you birth control free and they cannot tell your parents.
