Can you get birth control pills at walmart? |
i want to get on birth control but i don't have health insurance anymore. someone said i can get it at walmart, is that true? and how much does it cost? If you can't, it should be a legal requirement. Seems every broad shopping at Walmart has at least 3 kids running around the shopping cart. Yes, if the Walmart has a pharmacy. Many Walmart stores have pharmacies, and you can get any medication that you can get in any other pharmacy. Yes at the walmart pharmacy they have a whole list of meds they only charge $4 for, but you still need a prescription. I know a couple of brands of birth control is on the list and local doctors will know what's on the list and what's not. To get birth control pills, you have to have a prescription and the cost depends on the brand. Otherwise, they have other options such as condoms that you can buy over the counter in their pharmacy area. Walmart has a pharmacy, so you can get birth control pills there, however, you can only get them through a prescription. Your best bet is to go to Planned parenthood....and use condoms....or not have sex. dont buy them! its just like abortion - killing an innocent child! they say that it is just a "clump" and not a human being, but it is a human being, being killed. its just like killing an child, just younger. you have to have a prescription if you go to walmart. Maybe check out a local planned parenthood office, I think in my city they will give it to you if you are over 18 and it costs 10-20 dollars. you should be able to get it at walmart, as long as you have a prescription. If not, you could try going to a free clinic near you. Walmart has a plan to get all medicines for $4.00 based on your income, but I'm not sure if it would be for birth control. You can ask. i dont knew... Walmart has a pharmacy. If you have a prescription, they will fill it for you. go to planned parenthood- they dont have birth control at walmart unless you have a prescription. as long as walmart has a pharmacy and you have a prescription!. probably at the Walmart pharmacy with a doctors prescription If you have a prescription yes but not many brands are on the list only 2 I think. And it costs $9. no lol. you will have to go to plan parenthood near you, they give them to you for free. no u have to getit perscribed by ur doctor and itsa pretty penny no... some clinics and heath departments give them for free though |
