Can I swith birth control pills in mid month? |
The Trivora b/c pills are really making me depressed. So I called the doctor today & she called in a perscription for Yaz. I'm on day 5 of Trivora. Can I start taking Yaz tomorrow? I'm not worried about getting pregnant; it's to help with cyst. And with the HEAVY bleeding that I get. Most doctors recommend waiting until the Sunday after you start your period, or at the very least, a Sunday start if mid-month. It usually causes spotting, and since you have a cyst, you may want to call your doctor. It will interrupt your cycle for sure... Yes you can, but your side effects may not go away immediately As long as you are not skipping days in between you will be okay. |
