Does taking birth control pills really increase your breast size? |
if so how long would you have to take them to see a result? It is a fallacy. IF it occurs, it is usually only a temporary response to the sudden influx of hormones, and the modern pills are even less likely to produce this unlikely side effect. The reason birth control can increase breast size is because it also causes you to gain weight. The BC controls your hormone levels which can result in a weight gain. As women gain weight they usually, but not always, see an increase in thier breast size as well. It's the same as when women start losing weight they see a reduction in their breast size. They are very little muscle and mostly fatty tissue so the can fluctuate with your weight, plus the added hormones from the pill can cause the glands in your breast to enlarge. It usually happens within a month or so, if it does. Everyone sees different symptoms from the pill so there is no guarantee. I know a lot of women on birth control and it has not effected their bust size at all. ive heard that in some women it can, but unfortunately for me it only increased my waist size, ouch!! |
