Do birth control pills WITHOUT estrogen stop your period?

My doctor prescribed these to me but I still got my period. I am on my first pack however, but 5th pill. Thanks for your answer!

not as much but they still should

Yes they do.

It is really weird that it started in the middle of the pack, on the 5th pill. It really shouldn't have been the case. You might want to call your doctor.

It is really important to take progestin-only pill at the same time every day. If you don't - you might get a breakthrough bleading wich looks like a period.
