Can i be pregnant when i'm on birth control pills?

i've been on birth control for almost 2 years. last month i took my pills at all different times and missed one, but i still got my period, but it only lasted 3 days, when it usually lasts longer. i then had sex with my boyfriend the friday before i started my new pack. for the last 2 weeks i have had many symptoms that are signs of being pregnant. ive felt nauseous almost everyday and have thrown up twice, my boobs are sore and tender, all i want to do is sleep, i'm constantly hot, and more. i only have 1 more pill left of my pack, and i took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. could i still be pregnant?

if i am pregnant...could that mean that i ovulated early or does it mean that i had my period even though i was pregnant? and if i am pregnant even though i had my period, wouldn't the test be positive?

you certainly could

I've had friends whose parents were on birth control and used condoms and still wound up getting pregnant. So yes, it is possible that you could be pregnant.

Wait until your a week late from your period, and take another pregnancy test. If it comes back negative again, go see a doctor. That way, he can test your urine & blood to double check and see if your pregnant and if your not, your doctor can prescribe something to help you start to feel better.

You can easily get pregnant on the pill if you take your pill at different times.
<-- he IS a birth control pill baby.

After he was born, I got back on the pill, but I make sure I take my pill the SAME TIME everyday!

I love my baby boy! But I'm not ready for another one =]

Very possible. Sperm can live inside you up to 72 hours. All it would take is your fertile period to be when you missed taking the pill.

I have a friend at work who has 2 children, both conceived on the pill.

yes you can be pregnant just to be sure u shouldn't take the pills anymore because it can cause u to have a miscarriage

anytime you miss a pill there is a chance for pregnancy. Wait a few more days and take another P-test.

you could, there are no gaurantees. I fell pregnant 2x on the pill.
