How long does it take for a birth control pill like Diannet to be effective? |
i have started taking Diannet recently just 4 days ago from the 5th day of my period I would be worried too. I actually just talked to my doctor about this because I was worried too. She told me as long as you take it at the same like, MINUTE (ballpark. Like if you take it at 4:00, take it at 4:00 the next day. 4:05 is OK. 5:00 is not.) every day it will keep you from ovulating, thus making it totally impossible to get preggers. Don't worry. The combined pill only becomes a 'safe' contraceptive after 7 days of using it. I'd take the morning after pill, just to be sure. I've heard that it usually takes about a month for it to get going. |
