Does Wal-Mart have Birth Control Pills for Low Cost?

Someone told me that Wal-Mart has a generic birth control pill called Sprintec that is only $9 per month.

I have Endometriosis and I was paying $70 per month for Seasonique. I went to Planned Parenthood but they treat me horribly there so I am going to go to a real doctor.

Can my gynecologist call in Sprintec to Wal-Mart pharmecy?

Sorry if I sound stupid but how do I go about getting this cheap BCP at Wal-Mart? Do I just tell my doctor to call it in at Wal-Mart? Do you need to be some type of member at Wal-Mart and get all your prescriptions there? Or can anyone have their doc call it into Wal-Mart?

I am tired of paying $70 per month and getting cheap BCP at PP is not worth having them talk down to me and asking me if I want to buy condoms. I don't have sex. I just don't want the horrible pain and I want to preserve my fertility!!! Thanks!!

LOL poster #2 your answer was funny but you did not read my whole question. I am NOT sexually active. I have a disease called Endometriosis that causes me to have debilitating pain if I don't have a hormonal birth control pills to stop my periods.

You need to talk to your doctor about this, not people on here. Your doctor knows you the best, so he or she can help you find a way to manager your pain. But you need to find a real doctor, not PP. They could care less there. They're just after money and trying to make people feel guilty over their life choices, no matter what they are.

If your Dr. thinks that Sprintec or Trisprintec is a good choice for you, you can definitely getit for $9 at WM or Target. There's no club or anything like that you need to sign up for--all you need is a valid Rx from the doc or for him to call/fax it in for you.

Just buy some nyquil in the green and drink alot of it and then you'll go to sleep and won't wanna have sexual relations.

dont get it from wal-mart..
for all you know someone took the birth control back and replaced the pills with advil..
