Birth control pills, does it has any side effects? and what side effects? |
Hi, i decided to try to rely on birth control pills besides condom to avoid pregnancy and im new at this. I just want to know what will happen if i took one of them. I heard that it has side effects like making u dizzy, lack of concentration and so on. I was on the pill starting from age 14 til age 16. I gained tons of weight and got pregnant anyway. I miscarried. Was also on them right after my oldest was born and got pregnant again. I'm sure they have better ones now since I'm now 30 but I'm just not a fan of the pill anymore. Yes they can cause all that kinda stuff but it rarely happens. Basically they are just say all that just to cover their butt so you can't sue them if you get something like that. I been on birth control for 5 years and the only side effect ever had was barfing cuz it mixed with my other medicine but I switched birth control and it hasn't happened since. Everyone reacts dfferent to birth control. There are millions of types so if you do get a side effect you can switch cuz every birth control is a little bit different. First, try doing some research on the type of BC that your Dr. has prescribed. Each women body will respond differently to BC, some gain weight, and some lose weigh. I began to gain weight in the beginning the started exercising. If you keep active, decrease the amounts of soda u drink, and eat healthy foods then u should be fine. Just remember to do everything in "moderation". Another thing to watch out is your Blood pressure. Some women BP tends to become elevated while taking BC and if u smoke that could increase it also. But also remember that if u need to change your BC then contact your Dr. tell him/her the problems you are experiencing, and try another kind that best suits you! just because there are side effects from taking birth control doesn't mean that you will too. when i started the pill i didn't have any side effects, it just depends on the person and how your body re acts to it. The biggest thing w/ me was weight gain...like 20 lbs. It also made me REALLY moody. |
