I lost my birth control pack and I had one week left of active pills before the sugar pills. What can i do? dont have sex! Call your clinic and your pharmacy. I have an open renewal plan I can go get mine during business hours, I have no idea what your plan is. Start on a new pack. You won't have a period this month due to skipping them, but if you want accurate protection, start a new pack from day one. I think "what should I NOT do?" would have been a better question to ask. I think you already know the answer to that. Or use condoms go ahead and start on the next pack if you can't find the other ones before you need them. Do not start your new pack until you start your period...You should get it within a few days of not taking your pill.
