Will Singulair mess up/interfere with birth control pills? |
I just came home for Easter and I've been sick, so my parents called my grandfather (who's a doctor) and had him get me a prescription for Singulair to help with my cold. Well, I'm on birth control, and my family doesn't know this (I'm 20, not a young teen), so if I take Singulair and my birth control, will the bc still work at preventing pregnancy? Different pharmacy, different city completely. Like I said, I'm just home visiting for Easter, all of my other stuff is up where I go to school No, Singulair has no effect on birth control pills. I have been taking both together for about 6 years now, while being sexually active, and have never been pregnant! No worries! I don't think so. But you can call the pharmacy just to make sure. If it's the same pharmacy you get both pills from, then there shouldn't be any problem, since the pharmacy should have scanned for it already. |
