7 non active birth control pills?

I took 21 active pills and I'm not taking the last 7 reminder pills but then I'm bleeding like I'm having a period. Why?? So then after 7 days I will have my normal period??

You take the active Pills for 21 days then have a 7 day break (where you can take the sugar Pills), DURING this 7 day break, you should get a bleed.After you finish your 7 day break, you then start your next pack of Pills.

Oh dear, the 7 dummy pills are designed to avoid confusion by allowing you to 'seem' to be taking a pill every day. You are not the first to be even more confused by their presence.

If I understand what you are asking,you have taken your 21 real pills in a row and have then stopped, assuming this is correct you SHOULD be having your bleed. (It is a withdrawal bleed rather than a true period.)

Then, as Rhianna says, after missing 7 days you must restart with the next set of 21 real pills. It might be more straight forward for you if you ask your GP to prescribe standard 21 day pill packs.

the 7 reminder pills are just sugar pills to help you remember to take a pill each day, ur suppose to bleed and have your period on those seven days . then go back to taking your regular pills.
