Accidently took 2 birth control pills in one day.....?

I'm taking Yaz and I when I went to take today's pill I saw that it's missing and it's not lost I think I might of taken it twice by mistake yesterday. What do I do? Skip today's and continue taking it tomorrow? Please help!

I just went ahead and took it again today. I will call my doctor tomorrow. Thanks so much!! :)

dont skip any pills. I took two pills once and had some bleeding and nausea but it went away after a day or two. keep taking one pill a day until you get your sugar pills then after your period start another pack

Do not skip today's pills at all. Take your pill today. Then continue taking them. You will need to get a new pack a day earlier than you normally do, but that's no big deal. If you skip today's, you will open up the risk for pregnancy, and you will have to wait at least 14 days again before the pill will protect you from pregnancy and it will take up to 6 months for your body to re-adjust to being on "the pill". Don't skip a day, take one today.

The only bad part about taking two the same day is that you will likely get nauseated and feel like you have to puke. Eat some Saltine crackers or suck on some peppermint Altoids and it will go away in no time.

i'm pretty sure it's okay to skip the next day.

that's what we've done and there's never been a problem whether it be sickness or anything else.

and if you decide to skip and you're worried, you could probably just not have sex that day. then you don't really need to worry about anything.

You will be fine but you might get nauseated from taking two in one day yes I would say you should skip todays but then you will be taking two in one day again so you should probley call the doc and see if they want you to start a new pack since you missed two.

continue like normal. If you are sexually active take tomorrows today and so on. Do not skip a days.

I would continue taking as normal. Call your doc or pharmasist to be sure.
