I stopped my birth control pills mid-cycle?

I just have been forgetting to take them.. my grandmother passed this week and things have been slipping my mind. If we want to try to conceive will I ovulate this month anyway now that I've stopped during my second week of pills? Or will I have break through bleeding because I stopped in the middle of the pack?

You may have some break through bleeding you may have nothing at all. It may take a while for your hormones to balance out, and may take some time for you to begin ovulating again. If your don't start your cycle within a couple of months I would check in with your OB. They can check your hormone levels and help you to get things going again. I hope things kick back in to place really quickly, a new baby will bring such peace and joy into your heart.

Sorry for your loss. It can take awhile for your cycle to reestablish after coming off the Pill, you will likely experience irregular bleeding and it can take up to 6 months for you to start ovulating again. Most people find their cycle returns to normal before 3 months.

Im not too sure, just wait to see what happens and go right back on them. If you have a cell/an alarm clock you should set it to go off when your supposed to take them. Cell phone is allot handier because its with you at all times.
