Is it true that you can take multiple birth control pills to work like the morning after pill? |
My friend told me that and i don't really believe it so i thought i would ask all of you. I've heard that before, but I have no idea whether that's true. If you need the morning after pill, then just go get it. it's OTC now. to the person that just shat out their mouth that 3 birth control pills is equal to a morning after pill, go to sleep. Yes you can, your friend is correct, but I cannot remember how many or what amount (grams) of active ingredient you need to take for it to be effective..the information here about purchase and availabilty of the morning after pill is specific to Australia...but the other info is valid worldwide. It mentions the dose of progestogen needed to stop a pregnancy. Yes, my doctor presribed them for me as a morning after pill when I was quite young and didn't want to embarass me. The dosage is less though, so you take a few and then a few 12 hours later. Yes, though the number of birth control pills you would need to take depends on the brand. That way we can take a trip without the kids. No.do not do it. It is not safe. it is like over dosing on hormones. NO!!!! That is not safe.
