Which birth control pill do you prefer the most?

i've been on ortho tri cyclen Low for two months and it gave me horribly tender breasts and some tolerable nausea. it also made me very hungry.

then i recently tried Yasmin (but was also sick with a cold at the same time) and vomited all night long the second day i took it. i don't know if it was from my cold or Yasmin...but i'm very scared to try it again b/c the vomiting was HORRIBLE.

what do you guys suggest i take? i also would prefer something that is good for hormonal acne.

had problems with Ortho and Yasmin. I'm currently on Mircette and it works great!!! Also there is a generic if money is an issue.

I'm on Ortho Tri-Cyclen regular and I love it. It's been good to me for years. I have almost no acne from it, I always know when to expect my period, and no pregnancies. I have a very sexually active lifestyle so that's a big deal to me. No tenderness, no weight gain, and no other complaints.
if you are taking it just for birth-control reasons and for regularity of you period, I would suggest not taking any. It is usually best not to be introducing synthetic substances to your body.

Use condoms - they prevent pregnancy and the transmission of STD's - something that the pill will not do.

if you are allergic to latex, you could use "animal skin" condoms or poly eurothane.

Although, AIDS is so small that it can pass through the pores in "animal skin" condoms - but other STD's and sperm can not.
I think it depends on your body cuz every individual is different. I'm on the pill to and it makes me hungry, head aces and some times nausea. I head a lot of people that has been taken it has gotten pregnant even though they have been using ti correctly but not sure. I don't know about the patch but maybe u can try it
