Which birth control pill is most like the depo-provera shot?


I was on depo for 8 years and loved it, my gp and gyn took me off of it for bone density reasons, I have been on Seasonale for a little more than a year now and I really don't like it. I'd like to find a pill that is most like Depo-Provera.

Depo is a progesterone-only derivative; so if you wanted a BCP that was most like Depo, you'd have to go with a "mini-pill" or a pill that doesn't contain synthetic estrogen.
