The birth control pill that makes you get your period every 3 months? |
Does anyone know what its called? and anyone who was used it please tell me the pros and cons or side affects? Thank ya I'm on it! and dear god i love it. You can use a variety of brands, so check with your doctor when you go to get the perscription. I'm on Ortho Evra, but the one they advertise is ortho try cyclen lo. Mine is the patch, so i don't have to remember every day, just once a week. The pros are that you only have a period every three months, the cramps are lighter (that's why i'm on it. i was passing out) and in general the symptoms of your period should reduce. Also, they've been finding that the instances of cancer in women who are on long range birth control go down, so it's actually HEALITHER for your body to be on it.The Cons- my period is a little longer now, since it has more stuff to get rid of. My PMS is worse as well, but it's nothing terrible. You will be more prone to blood clots, but if you're young and healthy in the first place, you won't be getting blood clots anyways. Personally i love it. But it's completely your decision. Hope i helped a little! Seasonale. www.seasonale.com well i am in one and havent got my period in a year. the ring you change it once a month and i havent had no problems from it. I wouldn't know for sure, but something that unnatural CAN'T be good for you. It's going against your body's nature. Now I, I have to alter my period with birth control, because I get it 2 or 3 times a month. But I just reduce it to once a month. As I say, I don't know for sure, but I would not advise using it. Who knows what the side affects may be? An unclean, maybe even in-danger uterus? I just wouldn't recommend it. |
