The birth control pill?

My doc gave me birth control pills. He told me to start them on the sunday after my period. well we had a family death that was sudden and had to leave to go out of town right away. with my mind not being clear i forgot to pack my pills and had my period while i was gone. This is my first pack. I am not sure if i can just start taking them now or if i should wait till next mnth. And if i do just start next mnth, will my pills be ok to take. thanks!!

I am sorry about the death in your family. You should always let your doc know about any changes that could affect your health. I pretty sure he will tell u to wait until the Sunday after your next period. Don't start now unless he tells you to, they might mess up your cycle. your pills will be fine for next month, there should be an expiration date on the packaging somewhere.
i would just call your doctor and ask b4 you take them that way ull know you did the rite thing
Call your doctor, or if s/he isn't there today, contact your local hospital.
if u miss 2 or more days of your pills u have to wait the next month to start taking them or when your period is done and then do what the doctor told u to take them the sunday after your period starts. What ever u do do not have sex. Sense u are not taking them u could get pregnant.
