Is there a birth control pill out there that helps control ur weight?



the pill that i take is tri-sprintec and i have been working out and eating very healthy for 2 years now and i cant seem to loose weight its just the opposit in 2 years i have gaind 50 pounds i go to the doctor and get my weight examined and its not muscle mass its fat . my blood preassur is good and normal and my suger levels are good to . i just dont understand then i was reading the lable and the pill said that you will have a hard time losing weight and may cause slight weight gain but 50 pounds weight gain . so whats a girl to do ??

You may need to take your birth control pills. Some people tolerate different brands better. I suggest you talk to your Dr about prescribing you Yasmin instead. Its a relatively new oral contraceptive and studies have shown that it cause less weight gain. It also helps to reduce water retention which is very common in women taking contraceptives.
Stop taking them all together or try taking a low-dose estrogen birth control pill. Don't stay on b.c. pills for long extended periods of time either. It can do damage after your body that you may not know until much later on in life.
