Question about Birth Control Pill? |
It's about two weeks after my period ended and I had some brief breast tenderness. I'm on the pill though...does this mean I ovulated or is it just perhaps a side effect of the pill?? Both - more a side effect of the pill side effect, you don't ovulate on the pill, that's the whole porpose of it tenderness is a side effect. i was sore alot on the pill, i switched to the depo shot, no tenderness. by far a better method i think. it might be a side effect, but you never be to sure so go to your doctor just in case. It could be either, It's common occurance in both situations. I've experienced some breast tenderness. Usually for me it's before or during my period. I've been taking the pill for almost 6 years and it doesn't seem to have anything to do w/breast tenderness because I had it even before taking the pill. My obgyn explained to me during one of my yearly check-ups, that most women experience breast tenderness due to hormonal fluctuations. Hope this helps : ) |
