Question about missed birth control pill?

Ok, so I know there are alot of questions like this but I looked through quite a few and didn't see and answer to my particular question. So here is my question. If I miss a taking a pill and take two the next day, how long do I need to use alternative protection? For the rest of the month? I do not want to get pregnant.

My doctor told me at least 7 days should you be carefull. However i never trusted the pill fully, afterall its not 100% effective so i would wait until after your next period
If you've only missed one pill you should be fine if you took 2 the next day. If you miss more than one you should use an alternative method of birth control and if you miss more than two you should start a new pack of pills.
im not sure hun but bout the alternative protection i would if i were you cuz shoot id rather be better safe than sorry ya kno lol hope i helped a lil=)
one full week.... call your local planned parenthood if that makes you feel better.... i called them with the same question many times and its always the same answer. 1 full week
