I missed my birth control pill one day and had to double up? |
would thay cause random spotting and for how long after? I'm a doctor and a woman so I know what I'm talking about. If you skip a pill take it as soon as you remember, even if it means taking two pills at once. If you skip more than two days then just stop for the month and use an alternate birth control method. Doubling your pill won't cause any side effects, it won't make you sick. There won't be any spotting unless you stop taking the pills for more than a couple of days. wait like are you gonna get spots? i dont know. im a guy it could and I hope you are also using a backup birth control method so you don't get pregnant maybe..3 or 4 days... :/ dont double up..... it can cause health problems,, if you missed your pill one day you will be fine, just continue as normal and get back on your regular schedual. You NEVER double up....EVER. You should know this and other precuations when on the birth control pill. If you miss a day, skip that pill then take the next pill at your scheduled time and wait another week before engaging in sex. If you think you are responsible enough for the pill, please be responsible enough to KNOW EVERYTHING about it. When you miss a dosage, you should never double the amount the next time you take it in order to make up. High concentrations of the birth control pill's active ingredient might cause side effects. |
