What is the birth control pill where you only have 4 periods a year?


Is it healthy to only have 4 a year?

Actually, there is that one they advertise, but I've had a couple of friends just take regular bc pills and instead of taking the placebos for a week, they just start a new pack- prescribed by their doc of course because you go through more packs per year.
As far as being healthy to have 4/yr- Just my opinion, and I'm not a gyn but I can't imagine it being any more harmful or risky than taking the pills in the first place-

I do what LB described. I heard from a friend's doctor that you can actually go a year without your period without any harm done. But check with your DR.
