Does pot affect the birth control pill ?

ive been on ortho-tri cyclen low for 8 days . if ive smoked pot. does it or will it affect the pill ?

no, just your memory~ remembering to take it ...lol
No, it will not. I've been on the Ortho Evra patch for 3 years and smoke marijuana regularly for 2 years. No health problems, no pregnancy. And all birth control methods are essentially the same for women, just hormone displacement.
Yes this will affect the pill

No. It will not mess with your birth control. I've been on the pill for 7 years, and smoke pot, and haven't had any problems. 8 days is not long enough for the pill to take effect anyway, it takes 1 month before the pill will actually start working. You have nothing to worry about, so keep toking it up if you want to. LOL!
It could. But likely no more than taking aspirin.

If you're that concerned, take the pill and have your partner wear a condom still. It's smart to use both anyway since neither is 100% effective when preventing pregnancy and the pill won't protect you from STD's.
No, not at all.
