my doctor has prescribed for me to go on trinessa to regulate my periods and and make them lighter.....i would like some more information about this pill than the pharmicist gave and the pamphlet in the compact.....will it actually help my periods even though there have been complaints about it not preventing pregnancy?
As a rule, all birth control pills regulate your period. Yes, some of them do lessen the flow and this is one that does that...for most women. So, yes, it should help your period. You may have to be on it a few months before you notice the change but, for most, it is noticed by the end of the first cycle of pills.
