| *Women health>>>Birth Control Pills |
I was on the birth control pill for 2 years. I recently came off of it in February? |
and had one period so far. Is this Normal? It could just be that your body is adjusting to being off the pill. The pill regulates your period and if you've been on it for awhile, your body is not used to having to regulate it without the hormones from the pill. Or it could just be that you have a normally long interval between periods. For some women its normal to only have a period every other month or only once a year. If there's a chance you could be pregnant, you should take a test and see a Doctor. Otherwise give your body about 6 months to establish its own rhythm. If you don't have some sort of regularity by that time, see your doctor to make sure nothing is wrong. There are also other things that can effect your cycle, such as other drugs, diet and stress. NO...go to your doc...FAST...HURRY..GO GO GO It takes your body time to readjust to a monthly cycle. It probably isn't a big deal (unless you are pregnant!) You should talk to your doctor but you can probably also wait another month or so to see what happens. You might see some spotting throughout the month. That's pretty normal too. |
