Is it okay to stop birth control during the active pills? |
My husband and I have just recently decided to start a family. I was only on my third active pill when I stopped taking them. Will this do any thing to harm my body in any way? I also just started what seems like an early period, which I know is some form of withdraw from the pill. Is there anything else I should expect? Does anyone know how long the withdraw bleeding will last? hello: as far as i know the bleeding will stop in a matter of days. gynecologists recommend a"waiting time" between stopping pills and trying to get pregnant though i never really heard that there can be any damage to the fetus if you get pregnant soon after u stop taking them. do wait for amonth or 2 and than - go ahead and try getting pregnant. no researches have found that the pill does damage to the woman when she tries to get pregnant. good luck! |
