I'm newish to the birth control pill?

For about a month and a half i have been on it now.
A few days ago me and my boyfriend had sex, i hardly bled, but still a little.
Today, my boyfriend fingered me and i got blood all over the sheets.
Can you get irregular periods when new to it?
please i need help.

When you first start it is not uncommon to have spotting and outbreak bleeding. But if it continues to be irregular go back to your doctor and have them change your pills. Not all b/c pills are the same which is good because not all bodies are the same. Find one you like that doesn't make you spot. And if you are on a 28 day cycle do NOT skip the pills that start your period. It is so unhealthy.

Good Luck
It's called spotting. Mild bleeding for short periods of time when you are not on your period.

When you start taking birth control, it is completely normal to spot for the first 1-3 months. It is also normal to have much or much shorter periods.

Once you settle into you cycle, this won't be so much of a problem, but for now, it's something you're going to have to deal with.
No, you can't when you take your birth control just don't take the little white pills cause those are the only ones that make you start your period...if you don't want to bleed.
You were probably bleeding because of a hormonal imbalance caused by the pill(its actually quite common). But to be on the safe side you should call the doctor who prescribed it to you, they usually have no problem with answering your questions.
absolutely,

It takes a while for your body to become "regular". Hang in there!
