How long does a person who has started using birth control pill must wait before having intercourse?

How long does a person who has started using birth control pill must wait before having intercourse?

Cannot answer that question, it would be unethical and wrong.

The doctor that prescribed the pill should have explained all the risks and benefits of this medication as well as the proper way to take it and length of time until you are fully protected from pregnancy.

Call your doctor. All pills are different. Source(s): Womens Health RN
You can have intercourse anytime after starting, but if you're going to be sure to use a condom. It takes usually 2 weeks to a month before your body starts getting used to the hormones and you become fully protected. After the first pill pack you should be safe and can have unprotected sex (as long as you know your partner does not have any STDs).
Your doctor should have told you this when she/he handed you the prescription.

Its usually 1-2 weeks before you are safe.
About a 2 weeks but my doctor recommended a month to be safe.
